Jeff Summers, MD
Dr. Jeff Summers graduated from Ole Miss and attended medical school at University of Mississippi Medical College. He did an internship and residency in anesthesiology at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Summers enjoys having personal interactions with his patients and chose to study spine intervention over a less personal field of practice like operative anesthesiology. He completed a fellowship in spine intervention at the University of Texas Health Science Center and a fellowship in advanced spine intervention at the Pain Relief Institute and Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Walton, England.
Dr. Summers’ medical career is exclusively concentrated on spine intervention. He has many national and international connections to the specialty and serves on the Board of Directors. He is also a Past President of the Spine Intervention Society.
Dr. Summers’ outside interests include biking, trail hiking, and fishing, particularly when he can get back to where he grew up on the Gulf Coast.
